Introduction
Welcome to my website, Logos Resources. I'm Adam Biddlestone, a life-long Methodist, currently living in the West Midlands, with a background in church work and Primary School teaching. From August 2014, I served for 11 years as the Communication and Engagement Officer for the Methodist Churches in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. From October, I'm developing Logos Resources supported by some Supply Teaching.

Logos Resources is my developing freelance Christian business through which I will be
- selling new and second-hand Christian books
- hosting Quiet Days, Creative Days and Study Days
- available to support churches
- sharing resources which I and others have prepared and developed.
I've chosen the word 'logos' because it is Greek for 'word' or 'message.' In the books and resources shared and sold authors have used their words as they interpret and reflect on God's word. As Logos Resources continues to develop, I have used my own words to reflect on God's word through the resources I've prepared.
There are four main reasons why Logos Resources has emerged.
Firstly, many Christian bookshops on our High Streets have closed, making books less accessible. There is a wonderful wealth of Christian books available with new titles always appearing. So, through this website and at in-person events, I'm selling recently published Christian books together with second hand titles.
Secondly, as Christians we all need to take time and space to be with God, to develop our personal journeys and grow in the roles we are called to in the church and community . So, I'm developing a range of Quiet Days, Creative Days and Study Days. Please consider joining ones I'm running or inviting me to lead sessions in your own contexts.
Thirdly, over two periods of Lay Ministry in the Methodist Church and 30 years as a Local Preacher, I've encountered many creative, mission focussed projects and developed a set of skills and insights which I believe can be of value to local churches.
Finally, to share resources that I've created and continue to create.
I hope that you will explore the website, use some of the resources and buy some of the books!
