In her book, Paula Gooder offers a theological reflection on the importance of Ordinary Time in our lives as Christians before sharing reflections on 33 passages of Scripture where God breaks into the ordinariness and transforms the lives of those who are at the centre of the story.

This inspiring biography tells the faith journey of Christian musician and song writer, Philippa Hanna. Having many teenage experiences she'd rather forget and feeling lost as she began her twenties, Philippa prayed, asking God to show up in her life and there began a series of small events, as small as breadcrumbs, which used her music as way of getting to know God more deeply and personally and expressing her faith through music. Her biography recalls around 80 significant events in which she finds a sense of purpose on her journey.

A useful additional resource for preachers and those who want to deepen their understanding of the gospel as they hear it read in churches.

This recently published book (April 2025) reflects on a life-time of experience the author has in education, ministry and chaplaincy to older people. Through its ten chapters, the author combines personal experience, scripture and thought provoking questions to challenge readers to think about their own lives and ministries because as God’s people we both offer and receive support, love and care. The overarching message of the book is that by slowing down we can deepen our faith, relationships and sense of purpose in our individual ministries and journey with God.
