Books by Gary Best

Gary Best is a leading Methodist historian who has written over 20 books. For a number of years Gary has been historian to John Wesley's New Room, Bristol, the oldest surviving Methodist building in the world. Between 1987 and 2008 Gary was Headteacher at Kingswood School, Bath.

      This beautifully illustrated children's book tells the story of John Wesley's travels by                        horseback. During his life, he travelled thousands of miles by horseback and had many                  adventures along the way. A statue of John Wesley on horseback can still be seen at John            Wesley's New Room, Bristol together with the stable where Wesley's horse would have                  stayed.
