Lectionary Resources for Local Arrangements

Introduction

Many Methodist Circuits are finding it increasingly difficult to fill the appointments on the Quarterly Preaching Plan, meaning many churches are planned Local Arrangements on one or more Sunday each quarter, which they need to resource.

This page offers three resources

a dramatized version of the set Lectionary Gospel Reading based on the account as found in the New International Version translation. The format each week will vary, depending on the reading, for example it may be presented as a monologue, be re-told from the perspective of one of the characters or as a short drama.
a reflection on the Lectionary Readings which can be used in place of the Sermon.
some seasonal prayers, these will cover a number of weeks.

The above resources are available for subscribers to download and use in Local Arrangements or other services, with the expectation that I'm acknowledged as the author. As creating these resources is part of my freelance work it is necessary to charge a small amount.
